Ton barrels are widely used as common liquid storage and transportation containers in the production and logistics of industries such as chemical, food, and pharmaceuticals. Due to the heavy loads involved in transportation and their reusability, the quality and efficiency of their cleaning directly impacts product quality, production safety, and the company's operational efficiency.

However, traditional ton barrel cleaning methods suffer from inefficiency, incomplete cleaning, high labor costs, and potential safety hazards. These factors severely restrict the turnover of ton barrels and pose a significant pain point for business development. Against this backdrop, automated ton barrel cleaning equipment has emerged. Its efficient, high-volume internal and external cleaning method offers a novel solution to this challenge.

Standard Group's 360° automated cleaning system for IBC barrels features a linear layout. The entire IBC automatic cleaning line is designed to be cleaned in a straight line. The cleaning process includes: barrels are placed in the upper barrel storage area for cleaning → transferred to the upper barrel station → residual liquid is recovered and diluted → external cleaning → internal cleaning → slag removal → rinsing → draining → disinfection → removal from the line → transfer to the lower barrel storage area. This automated cleaning line truly saves time and effort.

1. Automated Cleaning: Boosts Efficiency & Turnaround

The IBC automatic cleaning line utilizes PLC control for simple operation and high automation. It requires only one or two people to complete the operation. Compared to one person cleaning a maximum of 10-15 barrels per day, the IBC automatic cleaning system takes an average of 2-6 minutes (depending on the barrel's level of dirtiness) to thoroughly clean a barrel. A single shift can clean 400 barrels, approximately 40 times the efficiency of manual cleaning.

2. 360° Cleaning: Ensures Quality & Cuts Risks

The automated IBC drum cleaning line cleans both the inside and outside of drums. Mechanical cleaning ensures uniform cleanliness standards for each drum, both inside and out. The three-dimensional, high-pressure water jet cleaning technology achieves a comprehensive 360° sweep of the drum's interior, thoroughly removing any residue and achieving a complete internal clean.

3. Draining & Disinfection: For Dry & Clean Drums

To ensure internal cleaning quality, the drum interior can be disinfected online after cleaning to minimize internal cleanliness. After cleaning, the IBC drum can be efficiently drained, leaving the drum interior dry and clean, facilitating its reusability.

As various industries have continuously improved their requirements for production efficiency, product quality and safe production, the problem of low efficiency in the circulation of ton barrels has become increasingly prominent. Automatic ton barrel cleaning equipment has become an ideal choice for solving the problem of ton barrel circulation due to its efficient large-scale internal and external cleaning methods and its significant advantages in efficiency, quality, cost, safety and environmental protection.
